Scholarship Open for International Students: Students of Benin, Cameroon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Ivory Coast and Togo can apply for these merit scholarships.
To be eligible for the Merit Postgraduate Scholarships dedicated to West African 2014 (£7,000), candidates must be
- a national or permanently domiciled in one of the following countries: Benin, Gambia, Togo, Ghana, Cameroon, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Ivory Coast;
- apply for a study at University of Sheffield place by Friday 20 June 2014 and hold an offer of a study place for entry in September 2014.
What does it cover:
The West African Merit Postgraduate Scholarship is worth £7,000 of recipient’s postgraduate taught masters degree tuition fee per year, for one year of study. The scholarships will take the form of a tuition fee reduction.
How to apply:
Candidates who meet eligible criteria, are encouraged to apply for the scholarships. Eligible candidates will automatically be sent details of how to apply from January 2014 onwards. Candidates cannot apply for the scholarship before being offered a study place at Sheffield. Applicants should apply for a study place by Friday 20 June 2014 and hold an offer of a study place for entry in September 2014.
