Masters of Science Scholarships at University of Twente Netherlands 2015/ 2016 • The University Twente Scholarship (UTS), offers a scholarships for masters program (MSc) in two rounds. Application round 1 (deadline: December 15) is available to students admitted to a UT (pre-) Master programme before 15 December. For students admitted before 15 March, the application deadline is on February 1 (application round 2).
This scholarship dedicated to international students, including excellent students from both non-EU/EEA as well as EU/EEA countries. The UTS is not available for Dutch and/or current UT Bachelor students.

EEA Countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom.
Number of Awards:
Approximately 30 Masters of Science Scholarships available for international students.
Eligibility:
- Applicants have been (provisionally) admitted to one of the above mentioned graduate programmes at University of Twente before December 14 (for round 1); or March 14 (for round 2)
- Submit a motivation letter in your application (250 – 500 words), this motivation letter explains:
- What you have studied in the past;
- What goal you want to reach through your study at UT;
- How you plan to receive this goal;
- Why you particularly choose to study at the University of Twente;
- Applicants have graduated with excellent results in their (under-)graduate programme, where excellency is based on overall CGPA
- Comply with the conditions to obtain a Dutch visa (if applicable)
- Comply with the general English language test requirement Academic IELTS 6.5 (or TOEFL iBT of 90) and an additional 6.0 (TOEFL iBT 20) on the subscore of speaking skills
- Applicants are not eligible for a Dutch study grant
- Applicants have finished a possible pre-master at the University of Twente
- While doing a pre-master programme at the University of Twente, applicants may already apply for a UTS. However, applicants must complete his/her pre-master programme with a CGPA of 7.5 (out of 10) to be eligible for a UTS and comply with above mentioned requirements.
What does it cover:
€ 6,000 – € 25,000, is supported by University of Twente Scholarship for international awardee students for one year.
