The Loom Nam Khong Pijai Scholarships 2014/2015 provide an opportunity for student of diverse backgrounds from all countries in Greater Mekong Sub-region to study and do research work together in the truly international environment at Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), to build a good foundation for international understanding among people of Asia.
This international scholarships for master’s program granted by the Royal Thai Government in honor of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. It aims to assist human resource development in the 6 GMS countries in any field of study related to the following 4 thematic areas.

Loom Nam Khong Pijai Scholarships for Master Students in Thailand

Field of Study(s):
Scholarships are awarded for masters program in any field of study related to the following 4 thematic areas:
- Energy Technology,
- Infrastructure Development,
- Oil, Gas and Natural Resources Development and
- Environmental Engineering and Management.
Target Group:
Scholarship open for International Students from Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Laos PDR, and China (also see: scholarships for Asian).
Eligibility:
In order to apply for master’s program for this Loom Nam Khong Pijai Scholarships, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Citizen of Thai, Laos PDR, Myanmar, Cambodia, Vietnam and China (Yunnan and Guanxi Provinces)
- Graduated in related fields from an accredited institution.
- Have high proficiency in English (a ToEFL score of 550 or equivalent).
- Have a good education record in a 4-year undergraduate degree program with CGPA above 3.5 or equivalent.
What does it cover:
Each scholarship award covers tuition and registration fees, accommodation, and a bursary for living expenses in AIT’s residential campus, for the entire period of 22 months master degree program.
How to apply:
Nominations from Department Heads or Faculty Advisors of prospective applicants are invited by filling the “Nomination Form” below and fax it or scan and send by email to rtg@ait.asia. The nominees are then requested to fill the application form downloadable from website or apply on-line there. If any required document is not yet available, please indicate and submit later.
