The EDSF scholarship program was initiated in 1999 to support the next generation of professionals for the Document Management and Graphic Communication industries. The industry encompasses the wide range of businesses and professionals involved in the creation, management, production, distribution and storage of print and electronic documents.

EDSF Scholarship for international students 2014-2015

Field of Study(s):

EDSF (Electronic Document Scholarships Foundation) Scholarships focus to support students who are commited to pursuing a career in Document Management and Graphic Communication marketplace. The career positions are very broad and include, but not limited to:

Target Group:

International students around the world may apply for EDSF Scholarship Program. Preference is given to college-level juniors, seniors and advanced degree students. Incoming freshmen and sophomore who can show interest, experience and/or commitment to the fields area, are encouraged to apply.

Number of Awards:

Minimum of 40 awards are prepared for students.


To be eligible for an EDSF Scholarship, applicants must have the following:

  • A real interest in pursuing a career within the Document Management and Graphic Communication Industry
  • Min. 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale
  • Full-time students attending an accredited college or university as of the Fall 2014 semester.
  • International students may apply

EDSF scholarships are based on combination of the following: scholastic achievement, application essay, participation in school activities, community service, honors and organizational affilitations, education objectives and academic and profesional recommendations. Depending on specific sponsor criteria, other elements such as geographic location, college preference, organization and presentation, may be considered.

What does it cover:

EDSF Scholarship Program provides $1,000 – $5,000 USD to each awardee, depends on the sponsors of the scholarships. The scholarships are payable only in U.S dollars. It may be used for tuition and books for either the Fall 2014 or Spring 2015 semester.

  • Frank Romano Lifetime Achievement Scholarship – $2,000
  • Hoods Memorial Scholarship – $2,000
  • IPN Global Scholarship (Alamo College) – $1,225 & $1,000
  • IPN Global Scholarship (RIT) – Two at $1,000 each
  • IPN Global Scholarship (London College of Communication) – Two at $1,000 each
  • IPN Global Scholarship (China) –$1,000

Note for international students: please allow an extra two weeks for your mail to arrive, due to the time it takes for international mail. If possible, please mail the application no later than Thursday, April 17, 2014. Also submit the documents by email to info@edsf.org with the date and place your application was mailed.
